As the holiday season is now upon us, the City of East Providence is pleased to announce our 1st Annual Holiday Decoration Contest. The purpose of the Decoration Contest is to promote the spirit of the holidays by fostering the sense of pride and community this time of year. Help us spread the word, let's work together to get our city in the holiday spirit!
The details of the contest are simple:
Category #1:
Residential Contest
Rules:
1. Decorate your home.
2. Share the photo by December 18 on the City of East Providence Facebook Page. Click here for Facebook Page.
3. Tag your photo by using #EPHolidayDisplay (this categorizes the photo into a folder)
4. Voting begins December 19th.
5. The winner will be announced December 23rd.
Category #2:
Business Contest
Rules:
1. Decorate your business.
2. Share the photo by December 18 on the City of East Providence Facebook Page. Click here for Facebook Page.
3. Tag your photo by using #EPHolidayDisplay (this categorizes the photo into a folder)
4. Voting begins December 19th.
5. The winner will be announced December 23rd.
The winners will receive a $50 gift card to the local restaurant of their choice and the title "EAST PROVIDENCE'S MOST DECORATED HOME OR BUSINESS 2015" for the entire year!
