East Providence Recreation Summer Camp Registration Time!
Starting Monday, March 20th, the East Providence Recreation Department will be opening registration for the 2017 summer camp program. New this year, the Recreation Department is offering full registration online! Don't forget to sign your little one up early as this popular summer camp does fill up.

Parent Guidelines
The following are Summer Camp General Guidelines:
EPRD Summer Camp will feature a day full of camp activities that include field trips, special events, arts and crafts, sports and games for children ages 6 – 12 (age as of September 1, 2017). Camper / Staff ratio is 6 to 1 for ages 6-8; 10 to 1 for ages 9-12. Important information regarding Summer Camp is outlined below. Please feel free to contact the Recreation Center at (401) 433-6360 or the Department’s main office at 435-7511 if you have any questions.
-Registration fee will be $75 per week per child. A Minimum payment for week 1 is required at registration. You can make payment online at eastprovidenceri.qscend.com/recreation or in person using cash or check ONLY. Remaining payment for the 6 week program due in full by June 16th. Phone registrations, mail in or faxes are not accepted.
-NO CHILD WILL BE ALLOWED TO ATTEND CAMP WITHOUT A COMPLETED MEDICAL FORM.
-We do not take requests for friends/siblings to be in the same groups. Let’s all make new friends.
-Transportation is not provided to and from this program. Parents must drop off and pick up children. East Providence Recreation is not responsible for participants until they are signed in with staff.
-In the event of rain, Camp will be moved to Silver Spring Elementary School cafeteria, located at 120 Silver Spring Ave. Some groups may be transported to the Recreation Center, 100 Bullocks Point Ave. and/or the Weaver Library, located at 41 Grove Ave., and returned to the main site by the end of camp.
-Field trip fees and special activity fees are NOT included in the registration fee.
-Field trips and special activities may be limited due to bus size and specific age groups. Field trips will be publicized in advance and reservations made on a first come first pay basis. Space on each field trip cannot be guaranteed. Youngsters not attending field trips may attend campsite on the day of the trip. Fees must be in cash and correct change would be greatly appreciated. Checks WILL NOT be accepted.
-EPRD Summer Camp is not a licensed day care nor is the City of East Providence licensed to provide child care services through the Department of Children and Youth and their Families (DCYF). As such, the City cannot provide Federal Employer I.D. # for tax purposes.
